The Wedding and Event Institute (WEI), an industry based, international online training institute, announces a new 10-part course featuring acclaimed wedding and event designer Sasha Souza.
Signature Sasha: A Certified Wedding Designer Master Course will be available starting this October and will be aimed at professionals who want to take their business the next level and become a Certified Wedding Designer (CWD).
The online course will incorporate five case studies from Souza’s best selling book, Signature Sasha: Magnificent Weddings By Design as well as classes focused on the business of wedding design — marketing, pricing, logistics, photography, site selection, and more — culled from Souza’s extensive experience and knowledge working with high-profile clients. Upon completion students receive a certificate signed by Souza and the title of Certified Wedding Designer (CWD).
The course also offers a unique and exclusive opportunity for students to participate in an apprenticeship program at Souza’s Northern California office working on an actual wedding. The apprentices will have one-on-one time with Souza the day prior to and at the event to learn first hand how to professionally produce a high-caliber wedding.
The Wedding and Event Institute is the U.S. division of Wedding and Events Training in Australia. The institute was founded by Kylie Carlson in 2004 for the sole purpose of training and certifying students in wedding planning and styling, corporate event planning and design. The online curriculum includes a comprehensive suite of planning and design tools, business templates and software within a dedicated training environment.
